Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of SignalDesk, available at signal-desk.online (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

SignalDesk connects to Google Search Console and Google Analytics with read-only access, stores and calculates reporting data for the properties you choose, and can send summaries of those calculations to an AI provider you select to explain changes and suggest what to investigate. The Service is under active development; features may change, be added, or be removed.

Accounts

You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding agreement. Keep your Google account secure and tell us promptly at contact@signal-desk.online if you suspect unauthorized use.

Your data and authorizations

• You keep all rights to your data. You grant SignalDesk permission to access, store, and process it only as needed to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• You may connect only Search Console and Google Analytics properties you are authorized to access and analyze.
• You can disconnect properties, delete projects, and revoke Google access at any time.

Third-party services and your API keys

The Service relies on third-party services, including Google APIs and the AI providers you choose (OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini). Your use of those services is subject to their terms. When you add your own AI provider API key, requests made through the Service are billed to your provider account, and you are responsible for those charges and for complying with the provider's terms and usage policies. SignalDesk is not responsible for the availability, pricing, or behavior of third-party services.

AI-generated content

Metrics shown in SignalDesk are calculated from the data you imported. Explanations and recommendations are generated by AI models and may be incomplete or wrong. They are for informational purposes only and are not professional, legal, or financial advice. Statements presented as hypotheses are not confirmed causes. Review important findings against your source data before acting on them. SignalDesk does not guarantee any ranking, traffic, or revenue outcome.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service to break the law or infringe the rights of others;
• access data or accounts you are not authorized to access;
• attempt to probe, disrupt, overload, or bypass the security of the Service;
• reverse engineer the Service except where the law allows it;
• use automated means to access the Service in ways that place an unreasonable load on it;
• resell or provide the Service to others without our written permission.

Fees

SignalDesk does not currently charge for the Service. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you in advance, and you will not be charged unless you choose a paid plan.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, belongs to SignalDesk and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account at contact@signal-desk.online. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Where reasonable, we will give notice first.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that imported data will be complete. Search Console and Google Analytics data is limited to what Google's APIs return.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SignalDesk will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim or USD 100. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold SignalDesk harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of the rights of others.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the effective date above and, for material changes, notify you through the Service or by email. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
